Biography

He received the Bachelor degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Master degree in Electronics and Radio Engineering, both from University of Technology, Ho Chi Minh City National University in 2002 and 2005, respectively. He received  Ph.D. in Electronics and Radio Engineering, major of Communications Engineering from Kyung Hee University, Korea in 2011. From January 2007 to December 2010, he was with the research group of Multiservice Networking Laboratory, Kyung Hee University, Korea, where he was involved with several projects related to Wireless Networks sponsored by Samsung Electronics Company, Samsung Cooperation.  Since October 2012, he has been with the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education, Vietnam, where he is an Associate Professor and serves as the Chair of the Department of Computer and Communications Engineering.

His research interests include wireless and mobile networks, cooperative and energy harvesting networks, Internet of things, cross-layer design, dynamic programming and game theory for wireless communications. He is the author, co-author of several scientific papers published in the international conference proceedings and journals. He is also the inventor of three patents on the low-power wireless networks, including  U.S. patent No.US8340053B2 granted by the United States Patent and Trademark Office and Korean patents No.KR101349182B1 and No. KR101503076B1, both granted by the Korean Intellectual Property Office.
